NEGOTIATING IN ENGLISH

2 Courses available at levels B2 & C1+ level

ADVISED LENGTH OF EACH COURSE: Each course 6 days of 7 hours (Total 42 hours).

Home study should be considered as an integral part of the course and take on average 4-5 hours per week.

Maximum group size: 9

A confidence building course full of role plays and discussions will aid you to refine your negotiating skills. You will be introduced to the language of negotiating in English.

In role-plays some of the items you will practise will be:

Making your offer
Stating your position
Asking relevant questions
Pressing your point
Explaining advantages and disadvantages
Clarifying statements
Discussing prices and terms
Making counter proposals and compromise
Finalising the deal

Complementary features are correspondence skills related to inviting to a meeting and everything covered in the spoken skills section and general business discussions. To completely round off the course vocabulary building exercises are undertaken as well as a suitable grammar review. Participants own suggestions form an integral part of the course!
